Barrels Of Possibly Dangerous Chemicals Found Dumped In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Police are keeping 24-hour watch over barrels of chemicals found dumped in Mount Vernon on Thursday, according to News 12 Westchester.

The contents of at least one barrel spilled and the Department of Environmental Conservation was called in, according to News 12 Westchester.

Authorities said they have no idea where the chemicals came from and hope to remove everything on Tuesday, according to News 12 Westchester.
