MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Baker Anthony Artuso Sr. is again churning out the cannolis and other sweet treats in Mount Vernon, according to a report by News12.

Artuso’s wholesale business on 12th Avenue went up in flames in 2014 after a heating unit caught fire, News12 reported.

The purveyor of pastries , which has retail operations in Mamaroneck and the Bronx, having since reopened on MacQuesten Parkway in Mount Vernon, just packed up its first batch of Easter goodies since the fire, Artuso said Friday.

The bakery turns out about 10 million cannolis -- those addictive fried tubes of Italian pastry filled with sweetened ricotta cheese -- a year, he said.
