Accumulating Snow Likely Overnight In Mount Vernon

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Westchester County should see its first snow accumulation of the season overnight Thursday into Friday as falling temperatures hit the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain and snow are expected late in the evening, changing to all snow after 1 a.m. Snow accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch.

Wind-chill factors will be between 20 and 25 degrees, overnight.

There is also a slight chance of snow before 9 a.m. on Friday, but it is expected to become sunny later in the day with a high around 42, according to the weather service.
