This prestigious event, which was sponsored by Elizabeth Arden, Inc., recognizes and honors mothers who maintain exceptional careers while balancing the demands of motherhood; this year’s main honorees were actress Sarah Jessica Parker and entrepreneur Joy Mangano.

The event provided the talented students of Edward Williams -- under the guidance of chorus director Antonella Delli Carpini -- to perform for an audience of more than 500 guests and other honorees. Each student (ranging in grades third to sixth) conducted themselves with great integrity, behaved respectfully and performed professionally, according to those in attendance.

"Visiting and singing in such a historic and wonderfully artistic venue is an experience our students will carry with them for the rest of their lives," said Carpini. "We whole-heartedly thank the gracious people at Elizabeth Arden Inc. for their kindness, hospitality, professionalism and generosity of spirit!"

Carpini also extended her thanks to chaperons, Rachel Boettigheimer (Williams’ ICT & Resource Room Teacher) and Mary Lando (Williams’ String Ensemble Instructor).
