MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Dozens of students have immersed themselves in all things Korean by participating in a special program at Mount Vernon High School, according to a report in The Mount Vernon Inquirer.
Their primary focus was the language, but along the way they also learned about the country’s culture and traditions, the report said.
Working together to make the program a success were, the newspaper said, teachers, the United Nations Club and the Korean American Heritage Society.
