Mount Vernon Boys And Girls Club Launches Teen Program

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – As the school year has begun, the Mount Vernon Boys And Girls Club will soon launch this year's Teen Program for local students.

Planned as a way to give teens a form of support after classes each day, either in the classroom or out in the wider world.

The program's aim is to make sure each teen exhibits good character, citizenship and maintain healthy lifestyles.

The list of activities range from Be Great: Graduate!; Date Smart; Money Matters; Smart Moves; Passport to Manhood; Career Launch; Club Tech; Drama Matters; Keystone Club; Youth of the Year; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM); Sports; Fitness; Social Recreation; Movies; Computers; and Game Room.

Those from ages 14 to 20 are welcome to join the program.
