"Preacher" is Woodbury's way of helping a generation of young believers understand and know that God is whatever they trust him to be, but it will come at a cost that is worth paying. The title character, Preacher, is the founder and chief executive officer of a billion dollar empire that is known as The Firm, while in his other life, he is a national evangelist, traveling the world. teaches and preaches the word of God.

In "But Daddy, I Just Want To Talk," Woodbury looks to answer a question asked of him many times over: “How can I get my father to hear my hurting?” This book shares a collection of just a few stories from young men he has met during his travels.

Woodbury has worked with young men for more than 35 years. A licensed elder at Allen Memorial Church of God in Christ in Mount. Vernon, Woodbury started a ministry called Boyz to Men and actively served as mentor and confidant.
