The  volunteers helped to take graffiti off two local businesses and painted an American flag on the newly cleaned facade. They also worked on two homes in the area: one group painted an abandoned home, while other volunteers helped an elderly woman with an extended family beautify the exterior of her home.

“We transform neighborhoods and Montefiore employees were awesome transformers,” said Jim Killoran, chief executive officer of Habitat of Westchester. “We hope this is just the beginning of their work; Montefiore employees did not stop and worked on improving the health of a neighborhood with Habitat of Westchester.”
