Media Magic Offering Mount Vernon Teens Documentary Filmmaking Opportunity

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Media Magic is offering interested teens a chance to learn how to make their own films, including shooting and editing, through a workshop training program.

Eric Tait , media consultant and award-winning broadcast journalist and documentarian, has been running Media Magic, a program at the Doles Center in Mount Vernon. Along with his creative program director, Keith Gonzalez, Tait’s crafted a program that will teach young people all about television production. 

With extensive experience in media, Tait is currently producer/host of "Media Watch" (Manhattan Neighborhood Network) and a former producer/host for "20/20 News Magazine" and "Our World Documentary Unit." Tait previously took Mount Vernon High School students on a hands-on, on-the-job exposure and training with the critically acclaimed “Then I’ll Be Free To Travel Home” and “Every Voice And Sing!" documentaries.
