Living Well Health Visits Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Westchester County program for senior citizens called "Living Well" is coming later this month to Mount Vernon and Mount Pleasant.

The "Living Well" program is designed to help seniors manage chronic health issues. Westchester residents who are 55 and older are invited to learn about the "Living Well" Livable Communities program to better manage their chronic health conditions, enhance their quality of life and possibly lower their health costs at three free information sessions this month. Chronic conditions include arthritis, high-blood pressure, pain, depression and diabetes.

Registration is not required for the sessions. The two sessions will take place at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 28 at The Armory at 144 N. Fifth Ave. in Mount Vernon and at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Mount Pleasant Community Center at 125 Lozza Way in Valhalla.
