Guidance Center of Westchester Announces Director of Development

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Guidance Center of Westchester, which has programs in Mount Vernon and New Rochelle, named Ann R. Hyatt as the director of development.

“We are lucky to have a professional of such accomplishment and breadth of experience as our Director of Development," said Executive DIrector Amy Gelles. "Her understanding of fundraising vehicles and strategic advancement of our mission and program goals are a valuable addition to our executive team.”

Hyatt has worked in the development field for more than 20 years, including five years as Senior vice president for Development and External Relations at New York City social services agency The Bridge.

She received a master's degree in fundraising management from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy, at The New School for Public Engagement. Hyatt graduated from State University of New York at Oneonta with a bachelor's degree in literature. 

TGCW features more than 200 employees and programs in 35 communities throughout the country. The $14 million nonprofit agency currently helps more than 5,000 people each year.
