NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The Guidance Center of Westchester has partnered with Ground Floor Coworking in New Rochelle for “The Art of Mental Health: An Exhibition." Done in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, the exhibition features work by TGCW clients and is curated by TGCW's Kara Rothschild, CAT-LP.
“Art is a means for expressing things that we might otherwise not have a language for,” Rothschild said. “The possibilities of art therapy are virtually endless.”
The exhibit includes painting, photography, poetry, drawings, sculptures and short stories. Visitors can view the exhibit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays until May 31 at Ground Floor Coworking, 547 North Ave.
The Guidance Center of Westchester will host a reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
