Bonifacio Rodriguez, 39, a married father of two teenage girls, was reportedly stabbed multiple times around 11:30 a.m. by Rosa Ramirez after the two got into an argument.

The restaurant started a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses and to support his family.

They announced the fundraiser on the restaurant's Facebook page where they honored their former co-worker.

"As some of you may have heard, it is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of one of our most beloved employees," they wrote. "Bonifacio Rodriguez was a dedicated, hardworking, trustworthy and gentle human being."

They went on to say that the restaurant would reopen on Wednesday as a way to honor Rodriguez. They will be closed on the day of his funeral services, which have not been finalized.

As of Wednesday afternoon, $6,591 had been raised of the $25,000 goal. To donate, click here.
