SPCA Celebrating 'Be Kind To Animal Week' At Mount Vernon Library

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Be Kind to Animals Week is May 8-14 and the ASPCA of Westchester will visit the Mount Vernon Library on Wenesday, May 11.

Alice Shanahan from the ASPCA will bring a shelter dog for a visit at 3:30 p.m. and discuss adopting and caring for a new pet.

Shanahan works in the volunteer services and humane education program.
