Mount Vernon Animal Shelter Seeks Assistance Tracking Down Missing Terrier

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - A Mount Vernon family is asking for the community’s help to locate a missing terrier that has been out in the cold since Wednesday.

Snooper has been missing in Mount Vernon since Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter posted a missing pet alert for “Snooper” a small black and white terrier that was lost at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday night in the area of South West Street and South Macquesten Parkway.

Snooper is wearing a black leather collar and weighs approximately 20 pounds. If anyone spots him, they can call (914) 262-5567 or the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter at (914) 665-2444 during business hours.
