Main Street Market Comes To Westchester County Center

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Now that the holiday frenzy is over, start the new year by visiting the Main Street Market, which will be held on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

Additional market dates are Feb. 8 and March 22, 2015. Vendors, artisans and food producers, all from the tri-state area will offer fresh local foods, such as cheeses, pickles, meats, baked goods and wine as well as products like hand-made jewelry, soaps and body butters. To tempt shoppers and to help them make their selections, food vendors will offer samples of their products. 

While shopping enjoy live music performed by studio musician/pianist/singer Jon Cobert, who has recorded and toured with some of the greats in the music business including John Lennon, Tom Chapin and Harry Chapin, among many others. He'll be putting his spin on tunes by artist of every era and style, from Gershwin and Cole Porter to Tom Petty and The Beatles, creating a truly eclectic and fun musical experience. Admission is free. Parking fees apply at the County Center lots. A list of vendors and coupons is available at countycenter.biz.
