Cinderella Hits The Stage In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Fairy godparents will grant wishes, pumpkins will transform into carriages and someone is going to lose a glass slipper this weekend as Cinderella comes to a Mount Vernon stage.

A production of "Cinderella" will be shown in Mount Vernon.

The public is invited to support the Academy Students’ Production of “Cinderella” at the recently renovated Longfellow Elementary School Auditorium at 6 p.m. Saturday. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the free show.

There will be refreshments served before the show, and the crowd is expected to include several Mount Vernon dignitaries. The production will involve audience participation, singing and dancing.
