Applications Accepted For Summer Day Camp At Y-cop In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Applications will be accepted for this year’s summer day camp program by the Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) to be held July 7 - Aug, 22 for youth, ages 6 to 12 years old, at the First United Methodist Church, 227 E. Lincoln Ave. in Mount Vernon.

Summer campers will enjoy and take part in field trips; academic enrichment; free nutritious breakfast and lunch; swim lessons; soccer and basketball instruction; guest speakers and more. For a third straight year, Y-COP will expand its program offerings.

The deadline for early enrollment discount is April 30: discounted rate of $525 per child; sibling discount 10 percent for second child; 15 percent for third child. Regular camp rate for 2013 is $650 for seven weeks. The Early Bird Rate must be paid in full (no exceptions) on or before May 1.

There is a mandatory non-refundable $25.00 registration fee for all applications.
