Friday, Aug. 10
Literary Tea Party: 2 to 4 p.m. The Mount Vernon Public Library will host the End of Summer Literary Tea Party. 28 S. 1st Ave., Mount Vernon.
Summer Movie: 3 to 5 p.m. The Mount Vernon Public Library will show children's movies in the children's room, 28 S. 1st Ave., Mount Vernon.
Arts On Third Auditions: 6 to 8 p.m. Singers, dancers and musicians will audition to perform on the amateur stage at the Arts On Third Festival on Sept. 16. The auditions will be held at the Dole Center, 250 S. 6th Ave., Mount Vernon.
Concert at the Bayou: 9 p.m. The Bayou Restaurant will host Sam Waymon and The New School, 580 Gramatan Ave., Mount Vernon.
Saturday, Aug. 11
R&B/Hip Hop Concert: 7 p.m. Musical group "Untitled" will perform in Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon.
