City Council Meeting: 10 a.m. The Mount Vernon City Council will meet in City Hall, 1 Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon.

Kwanzaa Celebration: 6 to 7 p.m. The Mount Vernon Public Library will hold a celebration for Kwanzaa, 28 S. First Ave., Mount Vernon.
