Chat 'N' Snack Book Club: 3:30 to 4 p.m. Third-, fourth- and fifth-graders are invited to discuss the book "We The Children.” The meeting will take place in the Children's Room, Mount Vernon Public Library, 28 S. First Ave., Mount Vernon.

Holiday music: 1 to 3 p.m. Join St. Paul's Historic Church for performance of holiday music featuring harp, French horn and voice. Arrive early for a presentation about the historical development of Christmas as a holiday in America, 897 S. Columbus Ave.
