WestHab Toiletries Drive : The Mount Vernon Public Library begins a toiletries drive that will last all week. Donations can be dropped off in the library's rotunda, 28 S. First Ave., Mount Vernon.

Computer Lab for Academic Use : 2 to 4 p.m. The Mount Vernon Public Library has computers available for students doing schoolwork. 28 S. First Ave., Mount Vernon.

Civil Service Commission Meeting : 4:30 p.m. The Mount Vernon Civil Service Commission will meet in the Memorial Room at City Hall, 1 Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon.
