MOUNT VERNON, N.Y.— A film screening of “Planetary” in honor of Earth Day is set for Saturday, April 20 at the Mount Vernon Library.

“Planetary” is a provocative and breathtaking wakeup call, a cross continental cinematic journey, that explores our cosmic origins and our future as a species, said a release.

The film will be presented by Pati Sands, Associate Producer and Lauren Laurino, a board certified naturopath and award-winning Holistic Health Advocate known as “Dr. Ren, America’s Holistic Sweetheart”.

Janet Carafa, a mime, will introduce the film. Her silent movements speak a universal language which go beyond borders, amplifying the message of the Planetary Collective, according to the release.

The film will be shown at 2 p.m. in the Grace Greene Baker Community Room at the library, 28 South First Ave., Mount Vernon.
