Rock With Christ Concert, Family Day Debuts In Mount Vernon Saturday

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Rock With Christ Foundation, with The City of Mount Vernon, will be presenting the staging of the first annual Gospel Concert & Family Day on Saturday, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Taking place at Hartley Park, The Rock With Christ Concert & Family Day will offer live gospel music, praise dancing, food and merchandise vendors, free haircuts for boys (ages 5 to 15), games, giveaways, fun for the kids and more. The event will also feature Skerrit Bwoy & Electric Gospel, The Voice of Allen Memorial, Prophet Shawn Miller, Lamoy Brown and more.

The goal of The Rock With Christ Foundation is to foster a community where teens and young adults can share and explore their perspective on faith while building self-confidence, nurturing faith development, building leadership skills and helping them to realize their full potential, spiritually, academically, physically and financially.

Donation of canned goods, used shoes and back-to-school supplies will be accepted at the event.
