Pelham Picture House Shows Martin Scorsese Film Ahead Of National Release

PELHAM, N.Y. – Interested in an advanced screening of "Abundant Acreage?"Head to The Picture House Regional Film Center (TPH) in Pelham Wednesday, Sept. 27 where you can see the Martin Scorsese film followed by a discussion with director/writer Angus MacLachlan and TPH’s Critic-In-Residence Marshall Fine. 

Abundant Acreage Available is a 2017 drama film written and directed by Angus MacLachlan.

Abundant Acreage Available tells the story of a family in flux and stars Terry Kinney and Amy Ryan.

The film premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, where the jury awarded it the Best Screenplay in a U.S. Narrative Feature Film prize and critics praised Amy Ryan’s performance as her “best in a decade.” The Westchester exclusive premiere at TPH takes place two days in advance of the film’s theatrical debut on Friday, Sept. 29.

After the screening, Fine will moderate a Q&A with MacLachlan, a writer/director best known for his work with "Junebug" "Stone" and "Fortroligheten."
