Veronica (Munczinski) Rockwell, 88, Lifelong Lyndhurst Resident

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Lifelong Lyndhurst resident Veronica (Munczinski) Rockwell died on Saturday, Feb. 6. She was 88.

Rockwell was a typist for AR Purdy before retiring. She was a member of the Polish American Citizen club. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and her husband, Ron Somers; siblings Bernadine Pieluc and her husband, Edward Theodore, and Edward and his wife, Marie Munczinksi; grandchildren Sean, James, Shannon and Jason Somers; and great-grandchildren Karlee, Zachary, Wyatt, Mya, Ethan, Tucker and Jason.

Rockwell was predeceased by her husband, George Winters Rockwell.

Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9., at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
