Christmas music from guitar duo Andrea and James Rohlehr followed the lighting, the story says. The St. Peter and Paul Children’s choir entertained the crowd as well, and there also were hot cocoa, and other holiday treats, including a visit from Santa.

The event was hosted by the Kline and Fleetwood Neighborhood Association and Tree Lighting Ceremony, State Sen. Jeff Klein, in partnership with the Mount Vernon Fleetwood Association, the article says. Klein donated the tree.
