The film documents stories from schools at the forefront of innovation in education.
“Students are more than their test scores,” said Mount Vernon City Schools Superintendent Kenneth R. Hamilton. “This documentary explores ways schools are changing the one-size-fits-all approach to education that has left too many students unmotivated and unsuccessful.”
"Beyond Measure" features interviews with internationally known leading experts in education, child development, creativity, motivation and academic equity.
The public is invited to the screening, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are free.
