MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — The Mount Vernon Public Library will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday.

A news release from the library announced a "day of service" to honor Dr. King.

The day will conclude with a book-signing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., when residents will have the opportunity to meet Lori Waselchuk, author of "Grace Before Dying." The book shows Waselchuk's photography from international aid organizations such as the United Nations World Food Program.
