Mount Vernon Library Seeks Young Comic Book Lovers For Comix Club

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Mount Vernon Library is hosting the Comix Club, a new comic book club for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders, Friday, Dec. 18, from 4-4:45 p.m. in the children's room.

The first selection of Comix Club is “Squish: Super Amoeba” by Jennifer L. Holm and Matthew Holm. Squish is a new graphic novel series about a comic-book loving, Twinkie-eating amoeba trying to find his place in the world.

The Mount Vernon Library is at 28 S. First Ave.
