Mount Vernon Library Observes Black History Month With Music Program

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Friends of the Mount Vernon Public Library is presenting a family program in honor of Black History Month, "Folk First: Black Roots Music," on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Vienna Carroll and Keith Johnston will bring an afternoon of music to Mount Vernon.

The event is free, and will feature the music of Vienna Carroll and Keith Johnston.

It starts at 2 p.m., in the Grace Greene Baker Community Room. The library is at 28 South First Ave., in Mount Vernon.
