Mount Vernon High School Greets Holiday Season With Concert

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Mount Vernon High School's holiday concert, “The Most Wonderful Time,” will be held on Dec. 5.

There is no charge for admission, but a canned good or unwrapped toy will be gratefully accepted at the door.

“Music brings people together, especially around the holidays,” said Superintendent of Schools Kenneth R. Hamilton. “This is a great way to build community spirit and help the less fortunate in our community with donations of food and toys.”

The free concert will feature The Jenkins Brothers and special guest performances. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Mount Vernon High School is at 100 California Road, Mount Vernon.
