More than 150 people showed up to the "Back to School Bash," at Beckwith Pointe in an effort to raise money for the Center for College & Careers, and in turn raise money for those who benefit from the program, young adults in high school looking to enter college or the workforce.

“I am truly excited to see so many faces supporting the Guidance Center of Westchester’s Center for College & Careers,” said Daniel Bonnet, director of the Center for College & Careers. “All of this can’t happen without your support, you being here and the fantastic counselors will make sure our youth will learn, work, and thrive.”

During the event, two students told stories of how the college had guided their lives and helped make their future brighter.

One student was quoted in saying: “Words can’t describe the help they provided me, because the list goes on. With their guidance and support I was able to do things I never thought would be possible.”

The center is a community-based organization, provides services to more than 5,000 people each year, TGCW is a $16 million agency with over 200 employees and programs in 35 communities throughout Westchester County.
