Mount Vernon Celebrates Black History With Famous Actresses, Producer

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Mayor Ernest D. Davis, Mount Vernon Youth Bureau and Mount Vernon Community That Cares present the eighth annual black history month challenge featuring famous actresses on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Mount Vernon Armory from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Actresses Lupita Nyongo, Keke Palmer, Quevenzhane Wallis and producer Ava DuVernay will attend the event.
