Woodbury will be releasing and signing his first two books, “Preacher” and “But Daddy, I Just Want To Talk.”

His writing of the novel "Preacher" is his way of helping a generation of young believers to understand and know that God is whatever they trust him to be, but it will come at a cost that is worth paying, according to a press release. The character Preacher is the founder and CEO of a billion-dollar empire known as The Firm, while in his other life, he is a national evangelist, traveling the world, teaching and preaching the word of God.

In "But Daddy, I Just Want To Talk," Woodbury looks to answer a question asked of him many times over: “How can I get my father to hear my hurting?” This book shares a collection of just a few stories from young men he has met during his travels.

Woodbury has worked with young men for more than 35 years. A licensed elder at Allen Memorial Church of God in Christ in Mount Vernon, Woodbury started a ministry called Boyz to Men and actively served as mentor and confidant.

He has been a wrestling/sports coach, worked 23 years at the New York School for the Deaf as a teacher's assistant and residential adviser, and most recently served as the Step Up! program coordinator for at-risk students for the city of Mount Vernon.
