In the production written and directed by Alexa Kelly, Brian Richardson portray’s W.E.B. Du Bois, a black American born just after the Civil War, and five years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Du Bois broke many barriers. He attended and graduated from Harvard, studied in Europe, and ran for Senator, co-founded the NAACP, participated in the founding of the United Nations, and saw segregation declared unconstitutional.
