Learn Digital Photography At Mount Vernon Library Class

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Public Library is hosting a digital photography class Tuesday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the computer lab.

Professional photographer Ken Lax will teach participants how to take digital pictures, upload them and send them via email. Attendees must have an email account and a basic understanding of computers. Bring a digital camera or camera phone with accessories such as a USB cable or a memory card. 

The class is free and open to the public. Sign up at the reference desk for a spot. 

Lax has done portrait, event and wedding photography for over 25 years and recently founded the Portrait Foundation, Inc.

The Mount Vernon Public Library is at 28 First South Ave., Mount Vernon.
