Two Suspects Nabbed In Fatal Broad-Daylight Shooting Of Long Island Man

Two suspects have been charged in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old Long Island man in broad daylight.

The shooting happened around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Copiague.

First Precinct officers responded to 70 Court Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot, Suffolk County Police said.

When officers arrived, they found Jewuel Hanson, of Lindenhurst, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Suffolk County Police today arrested two people for the shooting death of a man in Copiague earlier this week.

Following an investigation, Homicide Squad detectives on Friday, Feb. 21 arrested David Nolan, 22, of Rosedale, Queens, and Christopher Mohan, 29, of West Babylon for the murder of Hanson.

The two were both charged with second-degree murder.

They were held overnight at the First Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday, Feb. 22.
