BCPD Officer Robert Duboue pulled the car over for speeding and failing to maintain a lane around 8:30 p.m., Capt. James Mullin said.

Both “provided conflicting stories and appeared to be very nervous,” he said.

After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, Duboue found the trap, the captain said.

Yeuri Jimenez, 29, and 31-year-old Lenny Montero were charged with first-degree heroin possession with the intent to distribute the drug, among other charges.

Jiminez also was charged with giving police a bogus Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Both men were being held on $50,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail pending a Tuesday court appearance.

BCPD Chief Brian Higgins thanked Fort Lee police for their back up and assistance.
