From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 8 at Wartburg, the panel will discuss what options and choices are available for families responsible for aging adults.
Wartburg Medical Director Frank Polcari will lead the panel, which will include an adult caregiver who has faced many of the same obstacles and decisions as other families.
With the baby boomer generation reaching the age when adult day care may be a viable option to accommodate their health, nutritional and social needs, more families are facing these choices.
The panel will discuss what services adult day care provides, what special support there is for adults that are ill and whether Medicaid covers the expenses.
Those interested in attending the free panel discuss can RSVP by calling Wartburg at 1-855-927-8287.
