Marie Wright, 80, Of Red Hook

RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Marie Wright, 80, of Red Hook, died Oct. 14. 

Born July 11, 1936, in Yonkers, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Estelle (Poli) Brennan. 

She was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church. For many years, she took pride and joy working at Red Hook High School. She was a caring and selfless mother who found joy with her family, community and faith. She supported her children by attending their different sporting events throughout the years. 

She is survived by her children, Linda (Corby) Smith, David (Patty) Wright, Charles (Kirsten) Wright, Amy Wright, Diane (Craig) Zduniak, Jean (Steve) Alston, Joan Cascone, Russell (Sarah) Wright and Mary (Frank) Valentino; and grandchildren; Rory, Lisa, Amanda, David, Kyle, Malia, Brenna, Caleb, Cameron, Matthew, Allison, Jason, Madison, Mason, Maddox, Maura, Jacob and Laila. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Wright; and grandson, Randal.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Burnett & White Funeral Homes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Christopher's Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Hook.
