Author Brian Pinckney Visits Mount Vernon Public Library

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Author Brian Pinckney will give a presentation and book signing at the Mount Vernon Public Library Children's Room on Thursday, April 14.

Pinckney has authored and illustrated books such as "On the Ball," "The Faithful Friend," "Time of the Drums" and "Duke Ellington." He has won two Caldecott Honors, four Coretta Scott King Honors, a Coretta Scott King Award and the Boston Globe/Horn Book award.

The presentation begins at 3:30 p.m.
