Wartburg In Mount Vernon Appoints Newest Administrator

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – As its community-based services continue to grow, the Wartburg in Mount Vernon has expanded its administrative staff with the appointment of a new home care administrator.

Mary Queally, who has served as the director of Isabella Visiting Care in Manhattan since 2010 has been named as home care administrator for the Mount Vernon-based senior service provider.

“This appointment reaffirms Wartburg’s ongoing strategic emphasis on expanding home and community-based services,” Wartburg President David Gentner said. “Queally brings a fresh vision, decades of experience and passion for community-based health care to our organization.”

In her new role, Queally will manage Wartburg’s Licensed Home Health Agency, the evolving Long Term Home Health Program and Certified Home Health Agency, serving nearly 350 Westchester County patients. She will also be a member of Wartburg’s Managed Care initiatives.

Queally, who has more than three decades of experience nursing in a community setting, expressed excitement about the next stop in her career.

“I am excited to join the prestigious staff at Wartburg and look forward to contributing to the excellent care that the Wartburg has been able to provide the community,” she said. “It is our goal to allow our clients to choose to remain in their own homes for as long as they wish. Our mission is to provide compassionate quality care will continue as we expand our offered services.”
