Shop Mount Vernon On Small Business Saturday

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The City of Mount Vernon, the African American Chamber of Commerce of Westchester and Rockland Counties Inc. (AACCWR) and U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. will join together again for Shop Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28.

The campaign encourages the patronage of small businesses by holiday shoppers to help grow local economies.

Taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the campaign encourages the patronage of small businesses by holiday shoppers to help grow local economies.

Participating businesses will feature gifts such as buttons and cloth shopping badges. They can be identified by a "Shop Small Business" mat in front of their establishment.

The mission of AACCWR, Inc. is to preserve competitive enterprise and strengthen and maintain the economy of Westchester and Rockland Counties.
