Mount Vernon Recreation Department To Host Osha Training Graduation

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Recreation Department announced plans to host an OSHA training graduation ceremony for both temporary and seasonal workers.

The ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Doles Community Center Theatre, 250 S. 6th Ave., Mount Vernon.

The OSHA training was conducted by Andre Wallace of Creative Construction and Design, with an eye toward helping workers keep pace or get ahead in a competitive job market.

Costs for the training were covered by the Westchester/Putnam Workforce Workforce Investment Board & OneStop Employment Center and Southern Westchester BOCES.

Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
