Palazzolo has been working at the Wartburg for nine years as a social worker and administrator. In her new position, Palazzolo will oversee several residential facilities on the Wartburg's campus, including the Meadowview Assisted Living Community, Lohman Village and Friedrich's Residence, which will open in March.
“For those of us who get the opportunity to work at The Wartburg, we are fortunate to enjoy an environment where our daily work matters to the people around us including residents, families, friends and staff,” Palazzolo said in a press release. "As vice president of residential services, my goal is to continue to maintain the highest standards for our housing programs so that we can meet the needs of the community. I am excited about being part of the continued growth of this organization."
David Gentner, president and CEO of the Wartburg Adult Care Community, said Palazzolo is passionate about the center's mission and vision to improve services to seniors.
"She is a vital member of our leadership team and has become a resource to the greater field of aging services," Gentner said in a press release. "It is a well- deserved promotion."
