MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The City of Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is now accepting applications for winter after-school employment.
Applications will only be accepted in the Youth Bureau on Jan. 29 between the hours of 3 and 4 p.m.
A birth certificate or passport must be submitted along with the application, as well as a social security card, school ID, last issued report card, proof of residence, proof of income and a work permit for applicants between 14 and 17 years of age.
Males over the age of 18 must bring proof of draft registration. Non-citizens must bring an alien registration card.
Applicants must be Mount Vernon residents.
The Youth Bureau is located in room 306 at City Hall.
